May 3 The Heritage Fair is open to students in grades four through nine. The event tours through all of the Kootenays and stops in Creston in the begining of May. It is an opportunity for students to celebrate Canadian history and features entertaining and educational activities.

May 16 Acclaimed country-folk recording artist Mark Koenig headlines the Blossom Festival Opening Night Ceremonies. The concert event will also feature bluegrass songwriter/performer Elena Yueng and The Kootenay Specials.
This special concert event is also a twin CD release showcase for Mark and Elena. An excellent evening of great original music and dynamic live performance suitable for all ages!

Jun 14 Once a year, the Creston Museum hosts a day full of games and children's activities. Get off the computer and join in the old-fashioned fun with hopscotch, marbles, croquette, hoop-rolling and more. Admission is free and hotdogs and drinks are available.
